AIM to Cope Kids Group

Our children's group focuses on
teaching a variety of mindfulness
and coping skills in a safe,
accepting space, facilitated by a
Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
using the AIM Curriculum.
The AIM (Accept, Identify, Move) is
an evidence-based, socialemotional
curriculum,
encompassing the concepts of
acceptance of feelings,
mindfulness, and behavior analysis.
Through these 3 areas, your child
will learn skills to understand it's
okay to feel all feelings, become
aware of a variety of body
sensations, and learn new coping
skills.

Parenting Skills Group

Parenting is difficult, but there are effective steps that one can take to make it a little easier. Inspiring Hope’s Parenting classes will focus on techniques that help empower parents to raise healthy children. The group is facilitated by a licensed counselor, who has received specialized training through the Parent Project.

Some topics to be covered include: The power of words. Healthy boundaries, and the importance of consequences. How to reduce conflict. Learning how kids think and act. Love and affection. Co-parenting, Parenting in the digital age. Parental self-care.

3

Anxiety Group

In this treatment group participants will gain a better understanding of anxiety and learn a variety of techniques to disrupt thinking patterns and decrease unwanted emotions. This group will utilize Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) which is an evidenced based treatment for anxiety and is based on the idea that thoughts and behaviors affect the way we feel.  Group members can share their experiences and challenges, which can help them feel less alone and know that others understand what having anxiety is like. This group will be facilitated by a Licensed clinical Counselor.
